Feast of Sts. Crispin and Crispinian, martyrs during the Diocletanic persecutions. Patrons of shoemakers, cobblers, glove makers, lace makers, saddle makers, saddlers, tanners, weavers and leatherworkers. Immortalized by St. Crispin’s Day Speech in Shakespeare’s “Henry V”.
