Chicago Catholic Social is a multi-Parish ministry. It is by and for Chicago’s college educated single Catholics who no longer view themselves as young adults. Chicago Catholic Social serves as a ready resource for timely information about events throughout the greater Chicago area. Our goal is to strengthen our mutual Catholic faith, encourage community and faith development, and allow like- minded Catholics to meet and network.
Chicago Catholic Social itself hosts monthly socials and dinner nights, along with other activities while informing readers of individual parish and archdiocesan events: lectures, retreats, tours and more. We also include Catholic fund raising efforts of particular interest to single Catholic professionals. In addition, we list parish volunteer opportunities – just as “singing is like praying twice”, volunteering is donating twice. All of this supports and strengthens the greater church.
