Feast of St. Michael de Sanctis, Discalced Trinitarian priest from Vic, Catalonia, Spain. Twice elected superior of the monastery at Valladolid.  The municipality of Saint-Michel-des-Saints, Quebec, Canada, is named in his honor. Patron of cancer patients and Vic, Spain.

Feast of St. Waldetrudis, foundress, daughter of Sts. Walbert and Bertilia, Married to Madelgaire, Count of Hainault, mother of Sts. Landericus, Madalberta, Adeltrudis and Dentelin. Founded the convent of Sainte-Waudru. The city of Mons grew around it. Patron of Mons, Belgium

Feast of St. Walter of Pontoise, professor of philosophy and rhetoric before becoming a Benedictine monk at Rebais, later abbot at Pontoise. Patron of prisoners, prisoners of war, vintners, invoked against job-related stress.

Feast of St. William of Æbelholt, French Missionary and Abbot. Born in Paris, ordained subdeacon, received a prebend in the church of Sainte-Geneviève-du-Mont. Abbot of the canonry of St. Thomas at Eskilsø, then abbot at Æbelholt, Denmark for 30 years. Died 1203.

Feast of St. Vincent Ferrer, Valencian Dominican missionary and logician, born Valencia, Spain. Patron of Archdiocese of Valencia, Builders, Prisoners, Construction workers, Plumbers, Fishermen and Spanish orphanages. Died 1419.

Feast of St. Benedict the Moor, Italian Franciscan lay brother. Although illiterate, he became the Master of novices, and later Guardian of the community in his Franciscan Friary. Patron of African missions, African Americans, black missions, Palermo and San Fratello, Sicily.
